Alicia Kaye Holds on to Win

Kaye came out of the water about 25 seconds behind leaders Lauren Brandon, and uber swimmer Sara McLarty. Kaye rode fast on the bike taking the lead with one and half minutes over her closest competitor. Not too much changed on the run course. Kaye maintained her composure, pace and her lead long enough to wine. Paula Findlay ran a faster 10k than Kaye and took 2nd place, but it was not enough to catch her.
