

The Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game device developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It is the first handheld console in the Game Boy line, and was created by Gunpei Yokoi and Nintendo's Research and Development. It's pretty big in size but sports a long battery life at around 11 hours and all the great retro games. Its monotone LCD screen also provides a simple, but fun gaming experience.

It's battery life is not as good as the regular Game Boy at 8 hours, but uses less batteries and weighs much less. As with the original Game Boy, it has an 8-bit processor. The Game Boy and Game Boy Color combined have sold 118.69 million units worldwide.

The Game Boy Advance, often known as "GBA" is a 32-bit handheld video game console developed, manufactured, and marketed by Nintendo. It is the successor to the Game Boy Color. It supports backwards compatibility with older game boy titles and also features two new shoulder buttons for more advanced play. It is also much wider than the previous game boy's which allows you to grip the handheld more comfortably. It sports an 8 hour battery life and a higher resolution screen than its predecessors.

The Game Boy Advance SP released in February 2003, is an upgraded version of Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. The "SP" in Game Boy Advance SP stands for Special Project. This game boy sports a backlit screen which allows players to play their sp outside and still be able to see the screen. It is also much more portable to the GBA and has an internal battery that lasts much longer than AA batteries, rated around 14 hours, and even longer with the backlighting turned off. It however does not support older gameboy titles.

The Game Boy Micro retains some of the functionality of the Game Boy Advance SP, but with an updated form factor. It is unable to play original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. It is also much smaller than previous Game Boy systems. Additionally, it features a backlit screen with the ability to adjust the brightness so as to adapt to lighting. The shape itself is kept to a more simple, similar to the style of the Nintendo Entertainment System controller. It also features a removable face plate that allows consumers to purchase alternative designs.

The Nintendo DSi is a seventh-generation console and the third iteration of Nintendo DS. The DSi features dual screens with the bottom screen serving as a touch screen. It also features two digital cameras, supports internal and external content storage, and connects to an online store called the Nintendo DSi Shop. This new functionality was intended to facilitate personalization, so as to encourage each member of a household to purchase an individual DSi. It also has an internal battery that lasts around 16 hours and features stereo sound and touch gaming.
